GEORGIA STATE MEETING   held at PTCBMX on 6/3/2006

Officers in attendance:

Shayne Robinson,  President
Candy Gore-Maret, Treasurer
Carolyn Grant, Georgia State Clerk

Meeting was called to order by Shayne at 2:45 pm

It was announced that at the close of registration for the PTC state
qualifier there was a record number of riders for the state.  The total
number of riders for this race was 107!! That number beats the most number
of riders at a State Championship race.  All of these riders added up to 30
motos for the day.

Dan and Ruth Asci were introduced to those who were at the race.  These two

tireless volunteers for the NBL and BMX were celebrating 20 yrs in BMX. 
They have been involved with the PTC track since its earliest days.  They
have given numerous pieces of memorabilia to Shayne  to make a collection of
history for PTC and the NBL.  They dropped the 1st gate for the State Qualifier.

New Business:

Candy gave the financial report with the totals from May being $2188.25,
with income of $1000.00 and expenses of $300.00 leaving $2838.67.

No committee reports

There are 3 new tracks in the works that will hopefully be up and running by
next season in LaGrange,
Hampton and Carroll County.

The Georgia Games are here again!!

There was a motion to amend the
Georgia State By-Laws
this motion was to allow $300.00 in the budget for  the State Commissioner
to go the Competition Congress which is held  the beginning of each year, by
the NBL.  This would help pay for the $50.00 registration fee and 2 nights
of hotels.

There was a show of hands and it was accepted.
