Old Business:

Financial Report -
There is $1600.00 in the bank.  Tim Palmer, State Treasurer, has done the budget for the 2006 season.  As it stands we will break even at the end of the year with about $600.00 in the bank after the State Championship banquet.  Without doing any fundraisers for the state all the money the state has in the bank is what we get at the Presidents Cup( we hope) and the .50 per rider that is sent to the state at each race.  Last year when it was broken down, $500.00 was sent to the state by Sandy Ridge BMX, $400.00 from PTC BMX, $200.00 from Augusta BMX, and $150.00 from Albany BMX.  The total put into the bank was $1000.00.    All qualified riders will receive a trophy, jersey and number plate.  The state has allowed $50.00 per rider to
purchase these awards.

Goals for 2006
Last year the State qualifiers averaged 70 riders, we are hoping to have 100 riders per State Qualifier.
At the State Championship we had 100 riders and we would like to see that number increase to 130.
The awards for the qualifiers and Championship will be as follows:  15" trophies at the State Qualifiers and a 30" trophy for the State Championship.  All trophies will be ordered through Specialized Awards in
Texas

New Business:
Tee shirts will be available at each state qualifier for sale, they will be different at each track and will be  sold for $10.00.

Topics discussed by those in attendance:

Tee shirt jerseys for all at the State Championship and then a special jersey for those who attend the President's Cup.

Raising the entry fee for the State Championship, this would allow for the bigger trophy everyone wants and the more fancy jerseys.

Pit bike series to be run at all state qualifiers.  They will be running for a special number plate to be run only on their pit bike. Classes will be 9 and under, 10-14, and 15 and over.

At the state Qualifier for each track it was suggested to have a restaurant or business for a sponsor for the day.

State Commissioners Report:

The state would like to next year for the President's Cup be able to pay for
the riders entry fee and possibly some money towards gas.

For those who attend the President's Cup, all money earned from the race
will be divided among those who represented the state at the race.

16 and Over Open:
We are looking at having Chick-Fil-A as a sponsor, that is still in the
works. The qualifications will be the riders will have to ride 3 of the 4
state qualifiers, run all 3 motos, with total points counting.  There will
be a main if one naturally occurs  (more than 6 riders). There will have to
be 5 registered riders to drop the gate. Race fee for the open - $20.00.
$15.00 goes into the pot for the day and  $5.00 goes in to the end of the
series pot.

State Qualifiers, Championship:
State Team Series: 3rd moto will count for the team sheet unless there is a
naturally occurring main.

No banquet will be had at the State Championship.  There will be a cake and
drinks for all to enjoy while the final points are being tabulated.  The
money saved from not having a banquet ($2000.00) last year will stay in the
bank for next year.

All volunteers need to be in place at the state qualifiers such as scorers
and the clerk to help Carolyn, State Clerk, with registration.  She
will not be scoring at the races she will be inputting the finishes into the
computer.

Promotions:

Maxxis Tires will not be giving any money to the state this year but will
