3.                New business.    A)  Important dates to remember . September 10th a) Last date to earn points towards the State Championship.

                                                                                                                         b) Last day for GA State Board Nominations.

                                                                                         September 17th is the final date for cutoff for points protest.

 

                                                                                         August 26th final date for cutoff for jersey sizes for State Championship.

 

B)     Nominations for Ga State Board positions can be made to your track directors or your Ga State Officials. Article VIII Duties of the Officers is in our by-laws posted on the website www.georgiabmx.org or copies of this section are available at registration.  Carolyn, Candy and Shayne are available to field questions about the positions.  You may “buddy” up with any of us during one of the races to see what the job entails.  Nominations close September 10th  and ballots will be prepared for the vote at the State Championship September 23rd.

 

                 C)  We remind riders who have not qualified for the State Championship that they may ride in the open class for trophy of the day.
