3.                Old Business.  A) 2007 Team series ¾ or 4/5 best results to qualify for Championship.

 

4.                Financial report  --------- Candy Gore- Maret.

 

5.                Committee reports if applicable. None.

 

6.                New business.    A)  State Championship Augusta  track 23rd September. 11-1pm gate practice and registration, racing at 2pm.  Cake and cookies to be served while final results are tallied, then trophies, jerseys and number plates will be issued. The cost is $30.00 pre-registration and $35.00 post registration.

 

 

B)     Nominations for Ga State Board positions can be made to your track directors or your Ga State Officials. Article VIII Duties of the Officers is in our by-laws posted on the website www.georgiabmx.org or copies of this section are available at registration.  Carolyn, Candy and Shayne are available to field questions about the positions.  You may “buddy” up with any of us during one of the races to see what the job entails.  Nominations close September 10th  and ballots will be prepared for the vote at the State Championship September 23rd.

 

C)      National  and Regional schedules will be released by the NBL  towards the end of October , first week in November. Then State can fit their calendar of events, followed by local track schedules.   The NBL requires all schedules for 2007 to be in before  the Presidents’ Cup in Ohio December 27th.  Please let your track directors know of any ideas you have for scheduling races, be it times, fun stuff to do, and track directors please start talking to eachother  to work out optimum times for BMX racing in your area.  It will be at your local parents meetings where  this can be co-ordinated.
