AGENDA FOR GA BMX ASSOCIATION MEETING   August 13

  1. Roll call.
  2. Review of minutes of previous meeting.

·        State awards:  At State Qualifiers:  T-shirts.  At State Championship:  Yearend plaques, jerseys, and number plates.

·        Nominations for State Board Members were opened:  State Commissioner, State Treasurer and State Secretary.

·        Individual track updates.

  2. Financial report. Balance $5751.87 after Augusta’s Qualifier
  3. Committee reports.  None
  4. New Business.

·        We will go over the details of the State Banquet.

1.      Where will the Banquet take place?

2.      How much will the Banquet cost none racers?

3.      What will the menu consist of?

4.      Who will pay for what?

·        Need all track directors to announce at local races the following information:

1.      Nominations are open for State Board Members (currently Shanye Robinson for State Commissioner, Carolyn Grant for State Secretary and Burt Horton for State Treasurer).

2.      Have the riders and parents check the state website (www.georgiabmx.org) to make sure their photo and their name is correct.

3.      Have riders and parents check the state website for their points.  If they notice any errors, have them send an email to the address on the website.

4.      Pre registration for the State Championship ends September 17.
