Resolution: All TD’s agreed that BW should not be conflicted by any other track’s race, however, not required for DP race.

Regular local races will be coordinated with their nearest NBL track to minimize conflicts.

Action: PTC will work with McD, Albany will work with Dothan, Augusta will work with SC. PTC will probably have their entire schedule out on 14Oct, due to PTC amphitheater. PTC races will stick to the Sat 2pm start (will add 3 night races to schedule after consulting with McD) Next TD meeting to finalize schedules will be held at Macon Retirement Center in January

Discussion of 50c payout to State per rider per race.  State is now financially secure. Ricky suggested paying the host track a per rider fee for SQ’s and S Champs.

Resolution: No clear agreement.

Action: Continue collecting the fee, review finances and discuss options

State will pay rider entry fee for Presidents’ Cup in Ohio, other ideas to encourage participation? Sharing the prize money between the riders?

Action: Add item to the 2007 budget proposal.

The cost may vary depending on whether the “new” software is available (a new printer may be required.) If still DOS program, will need to have a serial printer port (as well as ability to connect to inkjet printer.)  Rob P has a contact.

Open Forum: How to handle problem riders and parents. Can a person behaving violently, or under the influence be removed or banned from a track?

Resolution: All TD’s agreed.

Action: County Parks have ordinances which handle criminal behavior, and intoxication. Need to post relevant sections on track notice boards, and mention in parent’s meeting.

Open Forum: Micro-management of individual track operations.

Resolution: All TD’s agreed.

Action: GA state officials will not interfere with the day-to-day operating of any track (eg. Deciding what to sell in the concession stand.) However the state will intervene where a track is not complying with NBL rules and requirements (eg. By-laws and record-keeping), their local county rules (eg. Tax id #).  Refer to the “NBL Track Manual”.

State officials will require intervention to be requested in writing

Open Forum: Handling disputes and problems. Local track issues should be resolved at track level, by track officials.

Attack the problem, not the person, focus on the solution.

Resolution: All TD’s agreed.

Action: The TD and his team need to be given the opportunity to take care of the issue. Contact the correct person, and help them be successful.

Additional item: Race results(places) and points.

New program will enable easy publishing of results and points, until then, points will be posted once a month during the race season.
